Trump parallels Macbeth trump

In Shakespeare's Macbeth, toward the end of the play, the deplorable King realizes that he has cavorted with Evil, bargained with witches, betrayed his loyal friends, slaughtered innocent children, decimated his country, and is despised by most. He says that he is in blood so deep [deep shit] that he might as well go all the way in. He barricades himself in his castle, refuses to concede to the new power structure and will not relinquish his authority. Macbeth is a broken man by Act 5. His arrogance, paranoia, and instability lead to his downfall. Finally, he loses his mind and his head because he has shown his kingdom his true wickedness. (A wee, simple paraphrase by Mr. Robinson, the old English teacher and Shakespearean instructor.) -- Just sayin' .

Sexual Violence

Actually, I think that this meme's wording is confusing. I am referring to people who experience sexual assault as survivors rather than as broken or victims. 1 in 3 women experience sexual violence. 1 in 4 men experience sexual violence.

Nice note from Jonathan Duke

Happiest birthday, Mr. Robinson! I'm reflecting back on my high school years, many moons ago, and the impact you and the rest of the English department had on my development, confidence, sense of self worth, and sense of belonging at Walton. You,
Karen Mannis
,
Greg Fleenor
, Mrs. Rathjen, and Coach Bobby taught me accountability, belief in myself, a love of literature, the joy of escape into fiction, and joie de vivre. Thank you for being a foundational part of my story and a light for the closeted gay kid in 1990s Cobb County. I hope your day is full of peace and love 🙂

Actors, Teachers, and the President Trump

Actors get paid millions of dollars to do what teachers get fired for! -Robert Robinson

Shall I make a list?
Smoking weed, saying the F-word, N-word, C-word, B-word. Adultery.
Sex with the boss, unless you are having sex with the Principal. Slander, Defamation (oops, that's the President, not the Principal!)

Check this out! Lassiter Trojan Guard "Design." 1984...when toga dresses were considered scandalous in winter guard...only because many

others wore military style in the other pic. Now performers wear nude skin-tight leotards, girls in sports bras, boys shirtless, in their underwear, in drag, and even more variety. Norms have changed. #diversity, #inclusion, #iamwgi, #quoteoftheday, #LassiterTrojans, #wgiAtlantasilvermedalist.
And to add an anecdote, the rifle line did a triple toss, 180° turn and caught under the leg. The WGI hall of fame judge's comment was, "You can't depend on legs for everything." I wish I had saved the tape. ❤❤ She missed the rifle vocabulary. The catch under the leg was merely the punctuation of the phrase.

Attending 2 Grad Schools using a Typewriter

 #quoteoftheday

Back when I walked to school 10 miles each way in the snow, (that's a hyperbole, for you young ones), I went to graduate school TWICE writing my essays on this machine. Professors would not allow one typo/erasure or white out on the page. Once, I missed a quotation mark and I received a ZERO on my 5-page essay. The professor's comment was "Robert, how could you?"
